The only exception is if it is a resort in the United States. The well Drinks will not be included. Facilities on the resort grounds such as pool, basketball courts, tennis courts and game rooms are usually all included. The fitness or gym room depends on the resort. Usually the gym is an extra fee as is the spa facilities. The gym and spa are included at resorts like dreams and sandals. Of course the price you pay for those resorts reflects this inclusion. Is it all worth it?You have to consider what you will actually use at the resort. If you are never going to go the gym or are never going to use a spa or get spa treatments, why pay the extra money for a resort that includes all this in the price. By going to a resort that does not include this your rate will be cheaper. The food3 meals a day is great and most of the resorts you can eat 24 hours a day 7 days a week. But if the food is crap, is it worth it. Usually you can find the standard hamburgers and hot dogs at all inclusive resorts. I went to one resort where they feature seafood. Being that I dont like seafood, I didnt eat much. The other 6 people I was with did. Worth it to me, no. Worth it to them, yes. Most resorts have different specialty restaurants. Just about all of them require you to make reservations to get into them. The problem is that when the resort is really crowded, it is hard to get a reservation. I know this from my own experience. If you are using your timeshare or a Friends, get the person from the timeshare company to make the reservations for you. They will have better luck than you as they will know the person in charge of actually making the reservations.TippingTipping is supposed to be included in these all inclusive resorts. If you want to get good service and get in good with the bartenders, it would be a good idea to hand out a few dollars or whatever currency you use. You will be amazed at how much better you will be treated. If you want something and they dont have it, they will probably find it for you. If the bar is crowded and the bartender sees you waiting to get your drink, it will almost always come up to the bar in front of those who do not part with a few dollars. The workers dont get paid that much, I am on vacation and they have families to feed to. I can afford to give up some extra cash. It gets you better service, makes the worker happier and you are feel good about yourself..
